Why Instructional Design?
One of the greatest gifts you can give someone is the gift of knowledge. As an instructional designer, I have shared my knowledge with over 300 people through in-person classes and hundreds more who have taken my licensure courses. Many of the students that took my licensure courses are now out in the real estate and mortgage world helping someone find their dream home or obtain mortgage financing for their dream home.
History
The key to working remote successfully is a dedicated space. I've been working remotely for over fifteen years. I enjoy the solitude and ability to work without the commute. It takes some additional creative outlets not tied to my business to create courses that make an impression.
Dreams in Motion
My passion for fishing is the best gift my Dad could have ever given me. He was the first person who took me fishing when I was four years old. The fish I landed was almost as long as I was tall. When I moved from the east coast to Colorado, I traded my saltwater surf rod for his fly rod. I made it my mission to be the best angler I could be. Passion for the outdoors is addictive – you just can’t get enough. Once you breathe in that fresh crisp mountain air, walk in the woods, and see your first moose or catch the biggest trout of your life, you will be hooked. My heart is full when I have the chance to share my fishing skills with those who might not get the experience otherwise. I have donated time fishing with veterans and underprivileged youth.
